This was a Wedding I had been waiting for since the day Ashleigh and James booked in with me! When I met Ashleigh and James I felt such a good energy from them. I could see their genuine excitement for the day when we discussed the details and the love between them was just so clear to see. It sounded like it was going to be a beautiful traditional Wedding, in the most stunning location, De Vere Latimer Estate.
I visited the Venue a few weeks before the big day with Ashleigh and her mum and it was just such an incredible place. There is such grandeur to the venue. Everything from the interiors to the view to the staff were top class and I just knew it would make incredible photos.
Ashleigh and her bridal party got ready at Latimer Estate between 2 rooms, and James got ready elsewhere, but when he arrived I got some groom prep covered in the grounds. When the rum was pulled out of the boot of one of the groomsmen's car, I knew this was my kind of groom prep! See photographic evidence below...
Ashleigh and James had a Christian ceremony which took place in the small church they have in the grounds of Latimer Estate. It was a beautifully ornate church, and the ceremony was so lovely to witness and a pleasure document. Again, so much love in one place, it was beautiful.
De Vere Latimer Estate has a lawn with the most incredible view. After the ceremony the drinks reception took place here, and we got on with the group shots before I took Ashleigh and James off for their couple photos. I was spoilt for choice with locations around the estate, and the light was really beautiful. I had so much fun!
Guests were called in by the toastmaster for their 3 course meal, which was followed by speeches and some time for drinks outside on the terrace and in the bar. Then we had the cutting of the cake, first dance and some of the best dancing I have seen at a wedding! Such a great energy in the evening reception, I didn't really want to leave!
There were so many beautiful moments throughout Ashleigh and James' Wedding day, and I am so thankful that they chose me to capture them all for them to keep forever. Some of my favourite moments were Ashleigh and her dad coming down the stairs before the ceremony and Ashleigh's mum waiting in the church to see her daughter walk down the aisle. Both really touched my heart and genuinely brought tears to my eyes!
This is truly a wonderful job to have, and I feel so blessed to witness and document these special days. Thank you Ashleigh and James for letting me in to your Wedding day, and letting me document the love between you both, and your families and friends. I haven't been to another Wedding yet where I met so many kind and caring people.
