After starting to plan their Wedding abroad, Nicola and Dewi changed their minds and decided to keep things closer to home, making sure all their families and friends could be there to watch them be married.
They chose a city location in Swansea, The Guildhall, which boasts class and sophistication with it's architecture and interior. The Guildhall is the home of the Brangwyn Hall which was named after Frank Brangwyn, who created panels of art to commemorate the First World War, which are now housed in The Brangwyn Hall and in other various room in The Guildhall. These panels are enormous and take up the whole space between the ceiling and wall, they really give the space character and make it a really unique venue. Nicola and Dewi chose to be married in front of one.
They chose to have a male welsh voice choir which was really incredible to see and hear as Nicola walked down the aisle. It made the room even more atmospheric. Nicola chose to wear a gorgeous short white dress with navy shoes from Ted Baker, a combination I adored. Dewi looked great in his navy suit, they both oozed cool and class.
On 10th June 2017 Nicola and Dewi got married, and they absolutely fitted in with such a gorgeous building and interior. It was my pleasure to photograph their ceremony, group shots and portraits!
